Early photo of the Broadview School located at the southwest corner
of Broadview and West 5th on the site of Friendly’s. This school was
constructed in 1898 and served the students of the Hamlet of Marble
Cliff which had its own district until 1915. The building on the left was the annex, the main building is in the middle. The third building was a home and is currently a barber shop. Two schools existed in the
Hamlet of Marble Cliff in 1901.
