Presutti's Villa (1933)

1692 West Fifth

Originally called T.A.T. Villa, the restaurant was located in the Presutti home at 1692 West Fifth.

An addition was later added onto the front of the family home (see inset in second photo below)

which they occupied in 1920. The restaurant closed in 1981. Before the TAT Villa, Salvatore Presutti

owned and operated the TAT and the First & Last Chance Saloon (open between 1916 and 1919;

it is shown in the bottom photo) at 519 and 409 West Goodale. Presutti's was later owned by Fred (Rocco)

Presutti, the son of Salvatore and Rosina.

PRESUTTI Alfred Rocco (Fred) Presutti, age 85, Monday, Arlington Court Nursing Center. Born June 23, 1915. Preceded in death by parents Salvatore and Rosina Presutti and sister Evelyn Wilson. Owner Presutti's Villa, Presutti's Suburban Steak House and Alfredo's Ristorante. Veteran of U.S. Navy having received The Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal. Past member of the Ohio Restaurant Association, National Restaurant Association, Heart Association, Buckeye Sheriff's Association., F.O.P. and Dirty Dozen. Fred had the pleasure of golfing with Arnold Palmer in the Pro-Am Memorial Tournament in which he played for 10 years. Member of American Italian Golf Association, Riviera Country Club, Piave Club, Guild Athletic Club, Agonis Club and Knights of Columbus. Survived by loving wife, Edith (Del Matto) Presutti; son and daughter-in-law, Sully and Joan Presutti; daughter and son-in-law, Alfreda and James Young, Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Rocco (Kathy) Presutti, Dina (John) Giddens, Sheri (Don) Miller, Desiree, Jimmy and Sonny Young; sister, Eda (Herman) D'Ascanio; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JOHN QUINT & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Ave. Prayer service 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Thursday, St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Rd. at Andover St. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.
